Ah man, this is awful news. He was such a lovely guy; I admired his work in the arts thread and asked whether he'd be interested in a commission. He did an amazing picture of my folks' place for their Christmas present this year and was very reluctant to accept anything for it. Looking back we were messaging on 9th Dec about what frame to get for it etc. It will be an even more treasured item now. Sending love to his family and friends. RIP.
