Bike Storage: Wall mounts, stands, lock-ups, sheds, etc.

Any suggestions for cheap Asgards (3 bike one in particular)? I've kept an eye out on Gumtree, ebay, etc but rarely seem to come up. Anywhere different I should be looking? Or any time that they have sales on?

For all my measurements brain flatulence, I reckon the GSD should fit. I just don't want to order, build and then find out I can't get the bastard thing in at the angle I need. It's longer than the doors are wide. Might have to make a mock up from off cuts and fart about in the front yard.

I used one of these and seemed to help a little with mould on bar tape / brooks on a bike I didn't use very much but felt a little like "what am I doing" drilling into shed

Does anyone know the going price of a Cyclehoop Bikehangar bought one off for domestic use? I've requested some info from Cyclehoop, but wondered if anyone had a quick answer.

Recently built ourselves a box to store our bikes, it would fit three normal sized bikes. It’s clad in larch which we burnt with a roofing torch for the Japanese shou sugi ban finish, which helps the wood last longer (and looks super nice). Really happy with how it’s turned out. It’s bolted to the concrete pad it sits on and there’s also a sheffield stand inside to lock the bikes to. Plus 2 lever mortice locks for each door.

We were going to commission someone else to build, but was prohibitively expensive, all in I think it cost less than £2k to build (including having to buy a nice Milwaukee nail gun)

Looking for recommendations for a hook that I can vertically hang a bike off outside but also attach a lock to, as this will just be in my back garden.

If vertical, what’s to stop someone removing the wheel to get the bike? Or are you thinking of a hook, and additional wall anchor to pass the lock through and round the frame?

If you weren’t set of vertical, hiplok do lockable horizontal mounts that lock around the top tube and mount to walls.

Haha, right after I bought the gun, a friend sent the clip of this, which precipitated us binge watching the whole five seasons during December/January, loved it.

Yeah we got a quote from them, £7k for the box plus £2k for each gate (we built a bin gate one end and a people gate the other).

No plans just sort of made it up, it’s a treated timber frame, clad in OSB, painted with bitumen paint. Then clad. The planter is lined with a thick pond liner with a drainage hole connected to a funnel and then a pipe out the side.

The dimensions are: 2750mm x 1250mm x 900mm (length x height x depth) it’s got a doors at each end.

Thinking of the hook for the wheel and a separate part to attach bike to with D lock. has to be this way because it's all the space will allow unfortunately, so that rules out the horizontal mount idea.

i think the brighton bike sheds vertical sheds work similar to how you've described.
there's a hook for the wheel, then a scaffold pole built into the frame about half way up to so you can put a lock around the pole and the BB area

this looks great! i've got to build something similar in the next month or so, but in a vertical orientation, to go in the back garden.
