Same here- standard AR2 is superb, but warm-as. Just ordered the AR2Lite after nearly falling off my chair. Thanks @Saffronspokes

How do they fit (never actually bought Castelli anything because always thought I'm too large for nice gear) - if between sizes, go up or down? Tempted to get both anyway and then offer the other on here...

Up

Ta. Thought as much.

They're a more usual fit than standard Castelli. These jackets fit comparable to Rapha Pro Team. I ordered both Large and XL but the XL was too big (80kg, 6ft)

Hmmm... I am 5'11", but (ahem) 100kg or now maybe just under, 41" chest in a fitted jacket. So XL might be ok then.
(assume XXL arms will be looooong on me also)

Interesting, I'm 183cm and ~78kg, and the XL standard AR2 (the warmer one), is good fit.
Anyway, also ordered both XL and L so we'll see.... there might be another one up for grabs pending which one I end-up keeping...

Xl castelli jacket ordered here . 185 and 90 kg so hope it fits.

Mine arrived just now. Nice bit of kit, like the inner zipped flaps (ooerr) so the jacket won't flail when unzipped and allow you to breath. Also acts as Spanx for your tum.
XXXL is snug, but workable. 9.5/10 would be fat shamed by Castelli again. -

Also ordered one and just arrived. So is this the new Gabba? It has a nice stretchy material like the Gabba/Perfetto used to have which are now much stiffer.

And mine just dropped on the mat too. Thanks for the tip off @Saffronspokes
XL just right for me at 6'5 and 85kg
-
• #6995
Yep you'll be fine, reordered L as XL was tad big for me 181cm/77kg
-
• #6996
Ahhh. Sounding like my 2XL might wind up being big. If anyone has an XL and wants to go the other way let me know..

Just tried my Alpha Ros Light out today, 8 degrees, windy and some random rain. Well good bit of kit! Usually get back with a pretty saturated base layer but not today. Regulating temperature is a breeze by just unzipping the outer and keeping the liner zipped up. Chuffed! I'm around 170cm 64kg medium is a good fit 👍

• #6998
I'm the same height but about 10/15kg heavier. Should I size up?
-
• #6999
179cm, 84kg. XL is a vaguely racy fit but totally workable.

XXL for me then...
what height/weight are you?
