Why shouldn’t I buy a bullitt… mainly riding 5 miles with doggo to work.
Also may carry 1-3 children..
-
• #13204
How big are the children? Beyond 5-6 I'd say they start to outgrow the various bullit kid carriers available, though someone else on here might prove me wrong.

3 kids in a bullitt without a massive custom box does not seem like fun.
-

6 (9-10 clothes!?) will probably ride her bike mostly, 3years and -3 months
Doggo is currently puppy

You can carry in that box on my bike there :
Two 13 year old kids and their swim bags about 2 miles before you start thinking “this isn’t fun”You can get two kids up to about 8 or 9 in the same box.
One child of 10-11 and one of 4-5 is pushing it.
Depending on how big your kids are.

Mine were too big for a bullitt front box around 5yo, you might get a year or two more. This was when they were 6 and 3.

I just reverted back to BBX and foldable seat from the Bullitt Canopy with new seats with 5 point harness. 3-year-old and 1-year-old didn't get along in the canopy and couldn't fit while they were both wearing helmets.
I also saved around 7 kg going back to BBX-solution.
Keep in mind there won't be much room for luggage with two kids in the front.
And three kids and a dog is going to be schlep without e-assist. -

I’m looking at the cube cargo now, it’s £3500 at one place, the bucket cargo area is ideal and no one has bullitt in stock within a few hundred miles and even then it’s hard work buying one!

3.5k seems a good price, it’s electric right? What gear system does it use?
-
• #13216
Yes. Bosch, envolio which I’d rather bin but I’ll happily ride it til it dies then replace with derailleur
-
• #13217
Thgey have derailleur versions of the cube, cargo sport hybrid or somthing like that
-
• #13218
Yep but not discounted to £3500!
-
• #13219
A mate of mine is really fond of his and it and is sounds like a good price for an electric

-
• #13223

Anyone got a 36.4 mm post for an urban arrow lying around
Thanks. The one I'm looking at is a classic with vertical dropouts, black M. The seller calls it v1 and claims it can fit 42s no problem but online I see people saying 38mm might be a stretch...do you happen to know? I emailed Omnium just to make sure anyway
