I wish I was your partner...
Looks really good!

Same here, looks like a very good bag, that.

Thanks all! I'm adding it to my webshop next year, although I think I'll be pricing myself out of the market compared to a Patagonia Black Hole or similar. It's a tricky thing because the big guys make a similar bag with more features for less money, but maybe some people are willing to pay double/triple to support a struggling artiste.

Couldn’t resist a tyre bargain, might have to build a bike around the Cavas.

Rode a bike yesterday, it was mega muddy but nice enough to be out. I really need to sort out my bike washing situation, because I spent more time cleaning the bathroom than I did cleaning the bike. Part of me wants to get a portable Kärcher, but I should probably just stop by the car wash on the way home every once in a while.

Envious of your dedicated bike bathroom.

..And the dedicated Vans bicycle footwear remains quite endearing. I mean Lycra and Vans, what's not to like?!

Envious of your overbearing partner

I actually quite like to do washing off mud with a big watering can and brush.
But then water needs to be nearby.
But if the bathroom was dirty anyway, why not? -

Probably too much information.

Took a drill to my frame and replaced the flow drilled threads for rivnuts. Surprisingly easy job. They probably would have been fine had I kept them torqued to 2Nm, but it's a bit late for that.

Also starting to form some thoughts about a bike @Hulsroy will be building for this year's Bespoked maybe?
Best description would probably be a randallroad bike, 35mm + guards or 42mm for the grav.
Steel frame and fork
SON sillyness
105 Di2 groupset
probably mostly Thomson hardware
Honjo guards.
Tasteful mix of black and silver?
I might even put one or two bags on it.The main question at this point is the cranks, ideally they'd be 46/30, definitely 170mm length, I wouldn't hate squaper cranks but I generally find the retro look a bit challenging. The frontrunner at this point is Easton EA90s I think, there's those IRDs @Tijs has, but I feel like it'd be a bit too retro with the Di2.

Middleburn I think are nicest, there is a 94BCD spider for the R02, they also sell chainrings to go with. I’m very happy with my rotors which are a more modern look, using a direct mount 46/ 30.

Middleburn could be a shout, then there's the black or silver dilemma. Black retro'ish cranks might be an interesting middle ground. Rotor is a close 2nd to Easton, slightly more expensive when it's all added up but maybe more stylish too.
Also, last week I did a set directly inspired by your bags!

Sugino OX2-901D with some nicer chainrings and the logo removed? Outer chainring can be a bit of a hassle to replace.

Keeping on with the black/silver/modern theme, how about some White industries sub-compact?
-
• #999
I have and like those, think it's a good crank that looks quite classic.
There is a small logo version, but then you can't buy them anyway. -

Sugino OX2-901D
Looked at those but I don't love the look, although I haven't seen them on a bike. Do you have a pic @c.h.e ?
@Marcootsee WI is the dream but I just can't bring myself to spend that amount of money. Rotor Aldhus add up to €350 with rings and BB, White Industries would be almost twice that.
It's definitely not advertising. Even if it was, you're making excellent stuff for exactly the sort of person who spends time on here who would probably love to know how to get their hands on it!
