Mclusky were the sound of my early twenties.

Yup, a couple of years back they did some low-key shows, and an EP last summer, unpopular parts of a pig. Falco is still as entertaining as fuck.

I saw them in Brixton right before the plague hit they were great

Yeah, he was really worried about that. He had to sell a lot of gear etc to pay off the US tour they had to cancel. Bad times.

As an aside, my kid interviewed Falco for either DiS or ThisisfakeDIY, can’t remember, some years back. He was young, a big fan of his work and really nervous. He had a list of questions, started the interview and about 10 mins in he realised he hadn’t pressed RECORD on his phone. He spent about 30 seconds debating what to say, and decided to be honest. Falco let out a strangled “OH FFS”, sighed and did the whole thing again. My kid was just worried he might punch him.
