I'll be impressed if you can find someone to resole these for less than the cost of new, I had a really comfy pair of blue ones which I had to bin because I couldn't find a cobbler prepared to do it.

Is that with all stitchdown or the Loake in particular?

Just that specific Loake desert boot. I took them to a couple of places and they both said it’s possible but at ~£100 it didn’t seem worth it. I think they were quoting high because they didn’t want the job :)
They were bloody comfy though!
