After a gravel bike, been needing to scratch this itch for a while but don't want to chuck a load of money at it.

Most likely alu frame, disc brakes, thru axle preferred. Anything considered.

5"10, usually ride a 54 but 56 isn't out of the question.

Based in Bristol, 500 quid is absolute max.

Dunno if you do Facebook but always plenty of Diverge E5 or A1 on there. Just make reasonable consideration as to whether it might have been stolen.

If you’re riding locally, tbf, to a certain extent you might be better off with an xc hardtail
