Hello, which langster frame do you have steel or aluminium?
If aluminium, there is a thread on here about the recessed specialized only head set.

Hi. It’s an alloy one. Can you send me a link please. Thanks

No, I can't be fucked to use the search function and type in langster headset as much as you can't be fucked to type that in to the search either.

As I’m waiting for the washing machine to finish.
I think this is what I did, way back in the mists of time.
Buy an IS2 41mm headset ( https://bankruptbikeparts.co.uk/products/fsa-is-2-orbit-drop-in-headset-41mm-bearing-1-1-8-steerer-speedmax-etc ) would do,
Strip the old headset out of the frame, you’ll need a biggish hammer and a flat blade screwdriver for this,
Remove crown race from fork,
Fit crown race to fork,
Pop bearings in frame,
Drop on top race,
Put a 3mm spacer on top,
Place top cap on,
Refit spacers, stem etc,
Ride away.
This reminds me I need to do the same to my old indexed headset on my SWorks. -

I’ve got it written down on a luggage tag tied to the bag of bits for the SWorks. I’m sure when I did the langster one I got the how to from one of those links though :)
The headset link was the just first hit on Google, will checkout PX ta.
Edit: I’ve also circled 41!! In red pen, so I’m guessing I got the wrong one at some stage :D
Hi all, can anyone help me? What replacement headset do I need for my Specialized Langster frame circa 2007
Thanks
