That's reasonable.
I would actually pay quite a bit for a NATO with metal eyelets that don't get larger.
Anyone seen NATO's with those?
Only have one that came with an old watch.

Not seen one with metal eyelets, but the Hamilton I just posted for sale has a reinforced NATO that looks really solid.

My Lorus cheapie has a strap just like that. The leather is very insubstantial and is falling off. The strap next to the holes has gone all furry. Perhaps proper milspec straps are made of something which lasts? Or maybe they all go furry eventually?
