Stephen Hempenstall was found guilty of causing death by careless driving at Inner London Crown Court today. Sentencing is in March. RIP Gionvanna Capiello

Thanks. Were you there? I can't find any media reports yet, perhaps tomorrow.

There is an article in a national daily (that I won't link to here) which includes a clear description of how the crash happened (warning, very sad details).

(NB it's Giovanna Cappiello, not Gionvanna Capiello.)
