Pretty generic microbrand, using the same movement as all the others. At that price they're competing with more established ones like Farer and Yema

Well good!

I think the video of the white land rover on their homepage sums up the target market.
Compared to what Time Factors or Christopher Ward do at that type of price they seem incredibly dull.

The price and sizes really pushing it a bit, they look good, just a grand is pretty high.
Land Rover/Army collaboration always seemed like an ick.

I might be missing something, but that's not a 90€ NATO?

Aera is also the posh gluten free bakery in Berlin.
Their interior design is better than those watches. They don't do it completely wrong, cases are kinda interesting, dial not bad. But 43mm. No thanks. And they look like 500 tops to me.
But then I don't like posh farmer cosplay cars either.

Turns out the Land Rover collaboration is actually with a yacht company that is doing a Land Rover collab ...

The rubber one is even more expensive.

A bug in DHL meant the Arcange watch won't arrive tomorrow, possibly Friday ?
It's this one

Why waste money on an expensive watch when you can get one that looks similar at a glance

Expensive at less than 300€? (I think I paid 285€ + import duties)
Or yours is expensive ? ;)
Btw whenever I read or think Patek, the Italian world Patacca comes to mind. 😅
Nice piece that one, jokes aside.

Lowkey huge news that GS are now doing 38mm sports watches:
https://grandseikogs9club.com/chronicle-9/hi-beat-36000-sbgh341-sbgh343/
Now put the new movement in them and make them 1-2mm thinner pls

What is this? A watch for ants?!

It's probably going to be too thick and much, much too expensive. Not sure what the UK price is going to be exactly but it's likely to be getting on for seven grand, which is absurd for the "old" hibeat movement. Edit: £6960.
The 37mm SBGR253 automatic is still on sale in the UK for £3500 (that's less than the new quartz snowflake, btw):

Ok, the bracelet's probably a bit nicer on the new ones but why is it double the price? GS price creep is way out of control now.
Thoughts on this brand http://www.aera.co ?
