We have one.
I am unconvinced how well they work. I feel like it makes some difference, but it's hard to quantity as it's integrated so you always get lots of knocking. People say being level is the most important thing, but I'd still put one down in case.
Idk if this is important to you, but being grippy means moving it afterwards will be tricky.
In case you don't know there are pucks available. I have them under the tumble dryer to raise it. Mine are +18mm vs the 8-10mm of the matt.

If it's a new model, I would worry more about making sure the installers get it completely level for you as they're installing.
Our Samsung that was new in December is on a 3rd floor next to our bedroom and above another bedroom. I was worried that it would be too noisy that I wouldn't be able to run it overnight, but honestly it's extremely hard to hear anything, and I put this down to the installers taking extreme care to make sure it was completely flat. It's potentially also an improvement with a newer machine. I've had lots of other washing machines in the past make lots of noise and move about while washing, but this one is quiet and hasn't moved a mm.
New washing machine being delivered Friday. I'm in a first floor flat now and trying to be considerate so thinking about a vibration dampening mat. Do these actually work?
