• I've come to the conclusion I hate metal bracelet straps. Too much jangling when commuting. What would you aficionados recommend as the most comfortable and relatively tough alternative? I'm thinking nylon NATO or rubber, don't want leather.
And is it easy to swap yourself or should I get a shop involved.

  • Slight dredge, but just wanted to say that i think rubber strap is the way to go for a day to day wear rather than nato - they just look a bit smarter. As @Regal says, the Erika's / MN straps are super comfy but they can be a bit fiddly to put on / off (i have a low niggle threshold!) and i think they look a little less smart than a good rubber strap if you're getting all gussied up in a suit or what have you. Rubber strap has the benefit that you can also use deployant clasp on them if you want the convenience of a bracelet without the jangle.
