Hard pass. Last two games were miserable and fixture list is looking tough. This was a game we had to win. Spurs, Villa, City and Palace before the final against Liverpool at the end of the month. It’ll be a miserable February at this rate.

Our record of 1 point against top half teams this season is something that Liverpool should rightly be worried about.

I hate that chant
You could be Brazil in 1958 or Ajax in 1973 or Milan 1989 and it would sound delusional -

there were flashes under Tuchel Big cup win was special.

I watched the Chelsea highlights on MoTD, last night. First time I’ve bothered really paying attention to them this season…
Woeful. Simply not a team, and some players not anywhere close to the required level.

• #167669
and yet they've spent a £bn on transfers since the new owners came in!

It’s absolutely mad.

I genuinely think someone like Sean Dyche would have Chelsea top 6 quite comfortably. They need someone who will drill them on the basics, give them a proper shape and make them super fit and aggressive. Maybe big star players wouldn't like that but it's what they're sorely lacking, IMHO.

Oh I totally agree. There’s no shape to them.

What I'm finding extra juicy is that, while being awful at football, they are also devaluing all the vastly expensive players, so come the summer when the FFP firesale kicks in, no-one is going to pay more than a couple of bob for them. Chelsea are really screwed.

Are there any Chelsea players that would be coveted by other clubs - I can’t think of any bar Cole Palmer (who would be great at The Mighty Villa, I’m sure Chelsea could be persuaded by a straight swap for Countinho which would be the master stroke of The Great Disrupter)
terrible first half, what a difference from the chelsea game
we looked a little more lively in the 2nd but still didn't have the cutting edge. still, only the 2nd defeat of the season, hopefully this will spur us on. look out burnley
