Ah yes, I remember you posting those back in the day.

Nobody knew it was still there.
I had a look at saving one of the high speed props. Problem was they were nearly 4m diameter and it was going to be a matter of what I did with it once I got it out. Should have done it. Left it too late now.

Does anyone know anything about Laminar aero handlebars?
https://laminarproducts.com/products/laminar-carbon-cockpit
Seem similar to Enve but half price and UK based. I can't see any reviews or mentions online, even any additional photos, but they seem to support the Trainsharp development team.

I know their £375 integrated cockpit is $215 on Aliex 😀

It's completely obvious without even bothering to do the reverse image search that they're just reselling open mould Chinesium, because anybody who was doing anything else would have a lot more information about their design and manufacture simply to distinguish themselves from the mass of "brands" which are barely more than drop-shipping operations.

I assumed they were buying them from China but that doesn't necessarily mean they're shit and I can't for the life of me find 35cm at hoods carbon drops on Aliex, and if they're good it seems like a fair price for the effort

I get £173.72 plus £45.48 shipping with your link on Aliexpress without any size selection and £250 on the Laminar website.
Edit: got it now, the Laminar link is not the integrated model.

from the looks of things it's the same guy as runs/sells orro bikes. so obviously open mould. but £250 seems like a fair price if they're good as the only other options at that width are enve or aerocoach which are either expensive or out of stock.
so back to my initial question - does anyone have any experience of these?

the Lambda one looks pretty cool and is even a bit narrower

I don't know why I have this image of Carolyn Curl. I wonder if she broke 200kph?

I know nothing about her, but reckon she could do with a bigger chainring if she wanted to do those kind of speeds.
I assume it's down a very steep hill where pedalling is superfluous?
-
• #2740
I mean, she looks to be a skier primarily so I doubt she was doing much pedaling. It's not like the flat records where they're motorpaced with a massive gear to push.
255kph is the current record.

Did you get that from the giroxvisma shared Pinterest ?

I've no idea what you're talking about.
Nope, it'd been saved on my hard drive for years for some reason.

Jumbo is using that helmet in TTs.
You'd think some collectors would be all over that joint. If you can't get a prop from a Spitfire you could get one from the wind tunnel it was developed in. Ok, maybe just me then.
