Why not replace it with errrr..... some heat shrink?
Yes, I'd worked that much out. I should have been more specific:
- this heat shrink says "125° C (∅15).
- it is on a ceiling light covering wires that are crimped together with plastic crimps.
Is there a particular type of heat shrink I need to use? Or does it just need to be the right size?

I want to dismantle a light to spray it.
When I come to replace this heat shrink, what type of heat shrink do I replace it with? - ie does it need to be a specific type?
