I also like your use of colour, reminds me of Abigail Bowens stuff where it evokes a feeling but you can’t quite put a finger on it.

There’s something ethereal about those.

Not sure why but the first thing that popped in to my head when I followed that link was 'ambient Francis bacon' :-D

Can't take any credit for this, it's a mat used at work to make paint cards / samples. It must have been used for years. Bought the office a new identical mat, brought the old one home and made a frame for it. Very please.

How much additional stretch can I get from a canvas if it’s wet?
I’ll explain. My canvas stretcher is 110cm. So I tend to do is 110x110 frames. But the canvas I order is 1.20x10.0m. I know I’ve got 10cm either on the vertical but I resent that I could be wasting canvas and only get 9 complete canvas’
Does that make any sense?

Thanks bruh
I just put POA. Which in retrospect might be more off putting than I meant it to be.
I just wouldn’t know where to aim for.

The paint on my new painting is wrinkled so I did some googling and it says the surface is drying quicker than the paint below.
Is there a solution to this problem. I’ve just left it drying on my garage floor so it’s not warm in there.

I love abstract art. There’s really beauty in nothing.

I find it very enjoyable. I think it over for a few weeks, then make something that has a passing resemblance to my idea. Then I'm done with it.

The above isn't much like what I'd imagined. It was just two white circles on a black background.

I’m the other way. Try not to think about it at all. I mix some colours I’ve got in mind but that’s it.
Not entirely sure what this is yet.
