Thick powder will most likely cover the details yes. But thick powder isn't really where I want to go.@cheekysnaker I will consider 3 arms. But Stayer Cycles have been using art 303 style cable guides for a while and it seems to work for them. I've not used them myself yet.
I will try and get some cut with both two and three prongs/arms and see what's needed.

I think they're super cute although the smiley faces will probably be lost without very careful silver application. Paint and powder would be trying to hide them too.
