Oooh, you may be able to help me with a couple of questions I've been wanting to ask. I have a paid of M120s but the soles are so fucking shit I can't wear them if it might think about raining because I slip all over the place which is a really weird sight when anyone who glances at my feet will see walking boots and think I'm a loon. As far as I know, the soles are Vibram - is this just what happens with vibram soles and will a replacement sort that out?
Secondly, any recommendations for leather treatment to look after them properly?
I’d say talk to your cobbler about finding the lowest durometer sole that still has some tread and get that on there. You can have the most aggressive treads in the world but if the sole is hard and inflexible it won’t do you any good in wet conditions or when it’s icy.
