1" threaded chrome forks with 18+cm steerer

As in the title, I'm after a set of chromed steel 1" threaded forks with at least 18cm on the steerer. I cut my current set down without allowing for the crown race, so now it's too short (headset locking nut only screws on a quarter turn).

Anyone got anything? If it's Columbus steel, that'd be great but not essential. If it's Italian branded, even better. If it's Ciocc pantographed, I'll sell a kidney for it.

I have some Reynolds 653 from a terry dolan cougar. They are a bit rough but they are chrome with Campag dropouts, if of any use? Probably be alright with some coke and tinfoil treatment!

The steerer is 190mm long with approx 20mm threaded steerer.

Apologies if you've already pursued this option, but a super low-stack headset could also help. E.g. Tange Passage which has the triple threat of low stack, pretty reliable in my experience, and pretty cheap.

Buy a headset with smaller stack height?

I think that's the one I already have. The threaded race only just goes on, which is why the locknut pretty much perches on the top.

It might be worth asking a friendly frame builder (@M_V?) if brazing a wee extension onto the top of the existing steerer is an option. I couldn't comment on whether that would be cost-effective versus sourcing a new fork.

Not chrome but 531 and bloodly long steerer.
