Does the same advice hold for an alkali attack (which is what the BBC is reporting the recent Clapham attack was)?
-
• #86278
That article covers both and I think just uses 'acid attack' as a generic term for anything corrosive chucked on a victim - treat any substance as an unknown and assume it's worst case

Yep!
Took a day off, planting seeds and might get some rushes to make a St Brigid's cross.

That corrosive chemical attack in London is awful, it is also very hard to heal from burn wounds :(

Horrendous, such a heinous thing to do.

Nasty shit that. The people /police that first helped out were also injured - really grim. I have friends who live in that street.

Last week a macaque monkey pulled off a daring escape from a secure facility where he was being exhibited to the Scottish public. The humans had to resort to a drone with a thermal imaging camera to hunt him down. Surely humanity's high tech war on Nature has reached its ghastly conclusion? Next week the Statue of Liberty will be on the beach.

Thee CCTV grab of the acid attack perp is fucking crazy, he looked like he was walking round London with his eye destroyed and popped in Tesco.

Im spending a fair amount of my time contractually working out whose IP is whose and if they are ok with other people using it but not selling it or monetising it, and then there’s AI which just takes what it wants.
Point me to the tech bro’s house I’m going to eat all his food and drink all his booze and then take a dump on his coffee table because ownership is so passé -

As long as the turd is inspired by their food and drink and not an exact replication they should have no problem with it

12 people injured in the alkali attack, not counting the perp.

Trigger: contains image of the alleged cunt before and after attack. The pic Dubtap is referencing looks like a Halloween costume, it’s gruesome.
Last seen in north London, Caledonian Rd. Fuzz are asking residents to check any security cameras for footage of the guy.
He’s reportedly an asylum seeker who was done for sexual assault/indecent exposure in 2018 before being granted asylum in 2021/22. That’s not helpful to the immigration debate, refugee debate, or capital punishment debate.

He said Reform’s policies appealed more to him, particularly “stopping the boats and illegal immigration and coming out of the European convention on human rights”
But...
he lives largely in London now, with his new wife, Claudine Uwamahoro, a beauty therapist from Rwanda.
It's just unmakeupable.

So is this:
"Foundation seeks to use tech to improve teachers lives and educational outcomes"
Or
"Foundation seeks alternative to paying teachers a fair amount."?https://schoolsweek.co.uk/chatgpt-eef-launches-trial-on-cutting-teacher-workload/
-
• #86296
My girlfriend is a teacher who uses chatgpt a lot in planning (off her own bat, not on the school's instructions). I don't think it's a bad thing to look into it.
I suspect a big chunk of teachers would favour a drop in the workload over an increase in pay. Whether that is how this ends up is, as you say, another thing.

So he suffered splashback we think?

Read in one the rags that it was claimed to have changed faith to Christianity for his last and successful claim. Feels like a spurious claim such as the having a cat means you can claim asylum.
How does someone walk around with that kind of injury? Especially after that amount of time passing? I'm not favouring or defending the perp, just interested. Also would someone seeing someone with that kind of injury remember seeing a person or offer to help? Which in this case may not be a great idea.

Can't wait for the tories to use this insanely rare example to beat every potential asylum seeker with.
