Something I did not mention is that it took me literally hours to remove the old cables from the shifters. I noticed the bike shop used Shimano cables for my campagnolo group set and both brakes and gear heads ended up stuck in the shifters :(
I managed to catch the brake with pliers but the gear was a completely different story. I had to disassemble the shifter and use fire to make the head slightly melt the plastic so I could move it :'(
In the end I did it and then I decided to work on it tonight to catch up on the time wasted.
Started from a naked nirone and now I have a Potenza Nirone7! Next step, cables!
