+1 would love a rohloff - but for the money I think the Alfine 11 can't be beat.
Much easier to do the oilchange in the bike than having to take the hub almost completely apart to re-lube an 8 speed.

Ha! I meant Alfine 11! I hate the jumps in Alfine 8. Doesn't take long to take the 8 apart, but agree, far easier to do oil change on the 11 vs. regrease on the 8. I've just read too many things about fragility that have put me off, but this is the issue with the internet - too many people claiming about stuff! :)

Always wanted one as heard amazing things about them. AND for the price, I'd hope so! Currently running Alfine 8 which I have a love/hate relationship with. On 2nd hub in 6 years. Wanted to get Alfine 9, but read too many stories about fragility.
