Gutting to see the lions cough that one up. Taking the field goal when they had a chance to go for it on fourth down felt crucial to me, they would have been up 28-7 or 28-10 and would have put so much pressure on the 49ers.
Campbells going to get second guessed for his game management in this one, but the lions being up and missing out, I’m sure will be fuel for next season..
49ers for their part got some great play from Aiyuk and that “game manager” brock Purdy, team made some big plays and that fumble recovery was big, and that’s all they needed.
Super Bowl will be interesting. Right now I think the chiefs got this. But 49ers can make any team suffer, and I don’t think the chiefs run game is as good as the lions.
