Excellent choice!
Wasn't aware of the brand (from the old continent here though), and a quick google popped exactly that suit in that colour.
And any suit needs a bit of altering anyway to be perfect... -

See also: Rapha.
There is a dad in my kids tennis class who is head to toe in Rapha leisure wear. I keep meaning to chat to him to see if he works for them, but can't think how to phrase it without sounding like a cunt.

I have a party. Dress code "Glitter and Glamour"
To me that says suit and some bits to make it less dull. My OH says it's OTT and I should go in dark jeans and a dark shirt.
I realise this sort of dress code is more female orientated, but I'm right aren't I?

Do not wear jeans and trainers. wear proper shoes and trousers and a shirt that is designed to be tucked in but not a muffin top, that will probably make you look smarter than just about every other male in the room.
A sports jacket or a suit would elevate things even further.please post a pic of the inevitable floral shirted/scuffed pointed tan shoes and tight jeans wearing spod from accounts.
Rapha man is probably on here, is it @amey?

IMO full Sontag is essential...

I need to get a sports jacket at some point. I've only got a brown substitute teacher one.
Maybe I'll go for my linen Uniqlo trousers and a shirt of some sort. I'm a bit tubby now though, so sort of need the jacket to hide the shirt.
It just now feels like a lot of effort. Whereas a navy suit, white shirt and a dark evening tie requires no thought. I dug out some of my old school tie pins and was then going to nab one of the children's glitter tattoo kit and put a sparkley pineapple or something on my cheek a la

Don't worry about it. It will probably be really dull so you're not missing anything.

I picture tiaras and latex when I read Glitter and Glam.

i bought one of those swedish stutterheim rain jackets recently - don't mind that it's not breathable cause i only walk in it, but hate that the hood has no adjustment all.
Any reccs for a similar style of impermeable jacket but with a decent hood?
-
• #5092
Yours doesn’t come with cords on the hood?

Tanta or Batela. Fraction of the price of a Stutterheim too.

Full disclosure one of the owners is mrs jaw’s cousin.

What are these trainers?

Not Uniqlo, but I wear a Medium EG basically everything. I wear a Large or even XL in some other brands. EG is absolutely big for its size. Basically always size down in EG unless you want it particularly oversized.
