The blue looks lovely in this picture

It does but I've already got one blue dial watch so if I get one I'll probably go to the grey. This pic makes the watch look shinier than it really is but shows of the dial quite nicely.

don't know why I thought this would be smaller thinner and have spring bars

It’s still badass. I think a simple single pass strap would make it wear smaller.

that's along the lines I've been thinking, but the chances are I'll breakin this strap learn to love it and not want to change

Just saw this on a post on Facebook. Stunning.

I don't really like these kind of 'textured' dials, same for those Tissot prx's.

They're nice watches, I think the kind of twisted lugs on the Seamaster cases are great. As it's the non-dive watch variant it'll look good on a leather strap too.

It's time for a new strap for the tudor

bold move,
I tried to get a bright orange version under a different brand a few years ago, I'll know what to look for now! -

expected the chrono to be largely useless on this: but this morning, timed the bread bake and this afternoon gave a less bothered 'we'll leave in half-an-hour' - the plastic film cover has now fallen off

White 36 chronomat with the bullet bracelet is so nice and the blue colour they achieved is like a purple/blue, also really nice in my opinion.

You don't like the bracelet because you prefer leather/rubber straps or you don't like the design of the metal bracelet? Only the newer steel bracelet is quite different.

I like this a lot!
What's the deal with the plastic cover?? -
• #76071
Guess I'm slowly breaking it in as I'm slightly unsure about it, I mean it's not a I must rip this off and have a look kinda feel, but for me it's always the things that are first like that that become the best - (it's got better now the plastic has gone )

Conscious that these are a bit below the standard of this thread; but clearing out the watch box; so thought I’d re-post to see if there was any interest in the following:
Baltany vintage style ‘bubble-back’ automatic with sub-dial. 36mm. Immaculate condition with box/ card/ tools, but time-keeping isn’t great (c.15mins out per day), so needs a service. No idea what that would cost, but tell me if asking £50 is therefore way out.
Casio Super-illuminator quartz diver from the early noughties. Lovely and apparently rare watch, with a brand new battery. The light function is crazy bright! There is a scratch on the (domed) crystal. Looking for £50 for this too.
1967 Seiko Sportsmatic Deluxe. In stunning condition and keeps good time. These seem to go for around £150-200. So how about a forum price of £120?
I’m in SE23 or SE1 if you want to check a watch out before buying. Happy to send at cost through Yodel or similar.
