How muddy is Epping Forest?

Please post on this thread as often as possible with up to date assessments of the dryness/wetness of Epping Forest. Then I can put the right tyres on my bike before each ride. Thanks.

Two days ago was all rideable apart from the dreaded peanut butter hill

Cool. Yes, that looks like somewhere to avoid. Along with Whitehall Plain no doubt.

Where is this hill? I feel like I've been up it, or should've been up it.

Ah yeah of course. Fortunately, only been up and down it when bone dry, even with road tyres before. Very rattley!

There's a bigger & nastier version of peanut butter hill off Mott St, leading up to the golf course, but I've been too nice to take anyone up there

Just bought some 650b wheels so I can get some right knobbly numbers on them, last time I tried to ride in Epping I was all over the shop.
