Sick fadez etc etc, late 80s Orbit Frontier 450 built from Reynolds 531 and with a mixed but thought through build. Lots of NOS and new parts as it was destined to be a commuter for me, but best laid plans and all that.
Frameset: 17" seat tube, 22" top tube (centre to centre) with mudguard and rack eyelets, 1" headtube, U brake rear, canti front, some scrapes and paint touch up but no damage - EDIT: sorry, forgot tiny ding on top tube.
Drivetrain: Stronglight 86 BCD super versatile chainset with NOS 46/30 chainrings, new chain and 12:32 7 speed cassette, NOS Shimano indexed shifters, original Shimano Exage mechs, new cables, alloy Specialized flat pedals.
Brakes: NOS Suntour XCD 4 finger levers, rear Shimano Exage U brake with NOS Shimano XT pads, NOS Tektro front canti and new pads, new cables.
Wheels: Shimano Deore XT M730/M732 hubs laced to wide Rigida Rally 30 rims, tarnished spokes but hubs have been serviced and are in good condition, plenty of like in the rims. NOS Michelin Wildgripper City skinwall tyres.
Finishing kit: NOS Sakae TCO seatpost, new Velo saddles, original Sakae stem, new Kalloy riser and new DMR grips, NOS bell, new medium black Wald Basket with NOS (but not perfect) Bernard Hinault bag that fits in there nicely (yeah, weird).
