Anyone in the market for an Omega Speedmaster 'First Omega In Space' (with box and papers)?
Worn a handful of times. Selling as I need to replace our car which has died in France...

I got this Seiko metronome for Xmas from my gf and bought her Tissot which I changed the strap and now wear….unfortunately she wants it back so was looking at a Tudor Chrono in steel and gold, think it’s too busy and too similar to a Breitling I have so think I’m gonna go for a Tudor black bay steel and gold

Those metronome Seikos are loads of fun, quite keen on one.
If you're looking at a BB S&G have you checked out the new cap gold Longines Spirit Zulu Time?

It's a more coherent design for me.

I've fancied an integrated bracelet retro sports watch for a while. Is this too homagey? Will every integrated bracelet watch just be labelled an AP rip off anyway?

I mean that is very... ummm...
Surely half of the 70s watches had integrated bracelets?

I think there are plenty of other watches that are closer to the RO than the Aikon. It reminds me more of the Chopard Alpine Eagle, with the round bezel and general slight chonkiness.
The Aikon has some really good finishing and crucially a very good bracelet for the money. For me that type of watch needs to be a) thin and b) sharp. It's not particularly thin (11mm) but it looks to be better finished than anything else in that price range. The Nivada F77 which is cheaper) looks rubbish for example.
They're 200m WR with a screw down crown which just seems overkill to me. 100m and a mm or two thinner would have been better. But yeah. I think they're alright. And 39mm is a good size.

The metronomes a funny little watch, the hand thing it does makes me smile when it goes back to the time function, had to change the strap to a snakeskin as the Japanese market have small wrists.
I had a look at that Longines was also recommended by a mate at Wempe but was really looking for a gold face watch.
@hang_on_voltaire I love the bullet bracelets tried on a new model but my old one has so much sentimental meaning to me I felt like I’d be cheating.

If I ever come into a good bit of money I would love an Aqua terra, or something similar and reasonably sporty. A moon phase window would be a bonus too. I don't like the metal strap so much but everything else about it I love.

Thanks I'm looking at the 39 mm and I've seen one 35% off. I saw the Nivada in my local Goldsmiths when it came out and agree with you looks ok but felt poor quality for the money. The Aikon is still quite a bit more expensive than the CW Twelve and I can't put my finger on why but the CW doesn't quite do it for me. I do quite like the Tudor royal 38 silver dial aswell. Why is there so little love for the royal and a question for @ejay2.0 why is the availability of the silver dial so patchy?
Or do I wait and buy a Riviera 39? I like it abit more than the Aikon but it is twice the price but has the same Baumatic 5 day movement as my Clifton which I do think is a great movement.

Thought I'd go with the LinkedIn influencer style image today (admittedly a quartz speedbird and a Yaris about to have an MOT).

CW are a lot more obvious in where they’re lifting design elements from. I’ve not seen the Twelve IRL yet though.
The Tudor Royal always looks a bit cheap to me. Very much like a pre-BB Tudor.

Plenty of 70's watches I like but finding a Cosmic with no date or date only is tricky and finding a 50 year old watch without a really stretched bracelet and some water resistance still seems even more difficult. Any leads sub 2k ideally?

I'm selling a couple of Pulsar military issued G10s if anyone is interested. More pics obviously available. Fresh batteries and great condition for watches that have seen some action - including bright lume. £150 each incl. RMSD.

I actually had that one for a while, on the bracelet, and this one, both a bit smaller than some of the ones that came after. I was forever snagging things on the bezel.
