Funnily I was talking with another forum member this morning, and we were postulating one prolific poster on here was probably that kid at school who had copies of guns and ammo and ninja training manuals.

This is all being thrown into focus by the campaign to ban zombie knives and machetes. What difference would this make if you can buy equally deadly kitchen knives? A couple of years ago I was 30 yards from a murder carried out with a machete. I sometimes wonder how much kitchen knife fandom is linked to the weapon aspect. Does anyone understand the psychology? And what about the gender balance? Are women as interested in the minutiae of knife design and construction?
