I disagree on both the accusation of racism (travellers are not a race) and generalising against an entire population (they are a minority of a larger population) but I have edited the post.

You may disagree, but the Equality Act of 2010 recognises Romany Gypsies and Irish Travellers as distinct ethnic minority groups. So in the eyes of the law, your comments were racist and discriminatory.

this is pretty blatant racism @bq, you've just gone and generalised an entire population by race and attributed a negative trait against that population. I assume you see it too.
you have been here a long time, so no ban hammer... but a strong warning that truly I do actually ban for racism. please edit your post.
