Luckily we have great neighbours all sides so chat from time to time already but a bench would be lovely for a sunny snooze.
What ideas for this area then?
Just clearing it if old roots etc - I have some ideas but would be good to see what you come up with! (South facing front of house again)

Benches are always good, and in front you might even end up chatting with neighbours.
I really don't want to tell you what to do, but as someone who will probably never own a house (Berlin, houses are possible, but not in areas partner would move too...) I love to pretend it's me deciding.
Simple rain canopy makes sense.
Those stones with stuff growing between will be great.
Looking forward to the pictures of cleaned up brickwork, exciting stuff!
