  • Do you think LFGSS have managed to spend Wiggle out of bankruptcy?

Possibly, but they aren’t going to sell all their stock if they keep raising the prices. Bought an Arione R1 with carbon rails last week for £48 which is now £65 (ok, still a bargain) and the GP5000 28mm which were £38.99 (minus 10%) a couple of days ago are now £48.99. The out of stock 25 mm are £96.99! Maybe they are using some kind of weird AI to generate their prices?

  • They definitely are doing something fucking weird and have been for quite some time. You get stuff like a set of pedals where black, white, red, grey, blue are £15 and the green ones are £2 and out of stock. Or a wetsuit that's £10 in size S and £100 in other sizes.

I understand the idea behind clearing surplus stock but it seems to be a bit beyond that.

It's a big company, they must know what they're doing I suppose, but it does seem odd from the outside

I’m no business genius, but I though you cleared stock by reducing prices until it’s all gone?

I understand that, as the ‘headline’ price is £2 when you search. It’s a borderline con, but I understand why they do it.
