Looking good, anything on the back?
-
• #6603
Yeah but I got ribbed for it since the imperial measurements aren’t appropriately ‘euro’…

Have to admit, the distance sounds better in KM as well!

Thanks, that's super helpful. I've had some running tops made by them before and agree they were great to deal with. Nice job on the design! Will share ours when they come through.

I'm in the market for a new cycling cap now the winter one has been retired.
Anyone come across any fun ones recently? None of the cinelli's are really grabbing me, which would be the go to..

Not super jazzy or anything but the Albion caps are the best shape/fit I've tried.

Looks like Castelli was bought by Assos circa 1997, and they’ve just got their first product out…

I just got one of these cool Bundobust ones in honour of one of the best curries I've ever eaten.

Anyone know where to get a budget friendly sleeveless base layers from?
-
• #6614
Craft base layers are good, usually found cheaper if they are from a running/outdoor shop.
any non merino base layers i have are from them they are of a decent length too, presume they do sleeveless. -

+1 for craft, their base layers are good. Especially the mesh ones.

Does anyone know of any half decent leggings/trousers to put on over bibs for cold morning starts/riding into the night? More substantial than leg warmers, but still packable and breathable/quick dry...Something like Alpkit Koulin.

Lovely kit, but outstrips my budget significantly. Also I'm not keen on waterproof generally speaking.

Proper legwarmers are just as warm as winter tights, if you want warmer than that you'd have to look at softshell trousers, and these aren't packable. Look for Miti Superroubaix with DWR.

Ta, that's seems like the right sort of fabric.

That is nice, made me go look at the other Giro jerseys they have produced for this year. I have so many jerseys that I can’t justify any new ones :(

Where's good for affordable bib shorts these days? I've got a pair of the really good Decathlon ones that were doing the rounds ages ago and they've been great. I'm basically wondering what the currently available equivalent is.

Spexcel on alibaba are fantastic value. I use them for commute / an hour round regents park, but I don’t think I could tell the difference between them and the various branded/ race/ quality bibs I own in a blind test. Downside is the weeks waiting for them

Thanks, I'll take a look! How would you say the sizing is? Fairly accurate or should I size up or down?
Experience with Apex was great, Wayne is very personable and professional in my experience, and was a racer himself so understands what makes a good jersey.
Quality of jersey and print is really good, you can see that the Elite is a breathable tech fabric, very stretchy but definitely race fit. Medium fit me well and I’m 5’11”, 75kg. Nice YKK zips as well.
Did the design myself so can’t speak to the design process but it came out in line with my designs
