  • That just never makes sense to me, those are designed to be mounted horizontal and that's when they work best.
    The secula comes in a version that can be mounted this way neatly, secuzed also, the tiny one too.

    What functions differently when it's vertical? It's just a light, and being a rear not a front it's not even directional?

  • Those lights have a directional lens that creates a wide beam horizontally but very narrow vertically. If you mount it vertically than it'll appear much dimmer when viewed by someone who's not exactly behind you.
