Haha, I’m in the same boat about getting ears done. Midlife crisis dads go running. MCDGR - not quite as catchy as MGOOF, must try harder.

Bit late sorry - I also had a mid-life crisis moment (on new year's eve lol) and got the top of my ear pierced. Haven't noticed anything unusual about running, except that I've nearly caught it when wrestling myself out of sweaty clothes afterwards.
