If you're referring to light pollution, I've seen really great images on the Seestar at Bortle 7!

to see a Milky Way photo from your new toy- if it can go that wide - can you even easily photo graph something as large as Milky Way - hmm..

But the Milky Way is across the whole sky, you can photograph it with any wide angle lens.
