  • The P and T line have a completely different fitting for the 4 speed rear derailleur. So a new rear triangle or some serious after-market bodgery.

    There's a 12 speed C line (though weirdly only electric) which means a steel 4 speed compatible triangle exists.

  • I suspected this much. Not seen many rear triangles for P/T in the past tbh. Usually only C/older Brompton style.

    @Alb the marketing suggests that they're not overlapping (or at least my half-asleep interpretation of the marketing), so it probably isn't a BWR. I've asked a friend whose ridden one already, but he wasn't sure and didn't pay close attention to the internal hub.

  • All evidence points to it being a BWR in a different shell, although oddly I can't find an explicit claim of the overall gear range on any official Brompton material.
