Haha.. yeah because I ride my bikes, I don't work on them. It takes quite a lot of pain before I do something about something.
It got a new chain, new RD cable, RD serviced so the clutch works again, hanger straightened, grips shifted (still not happy), levers moved (probs not enough), Wolf Tooth clamp and Postfix appear to be holding the dropper post in position now so that's nice. Saddle position had about 5 adjustments over the weekend and still doesn't feel right.
I had a brainwave about moving the shifter onto the other side of the brake clamp (inwards) to gain more thumb leverage and reduce range of motion.
Another thing crossed my mind last night - what's the name of the electronic shifter that mounts to the chainstay and winds cable? That would be a cool thing to use instead of spunking on Di2 or AXS parts - I could keep my cheap RDs and just fit one of those.
