This might be too late, but I bought a turntable on ebay that came with one of those plugs. turned out it was from Japan and should have been used with a "200W Step Down Power Voltage Converter Transformer 220V/240V to 110V/120V UKPLUG" - the fact that I just plugged it into a travel converter plug thing appears to have blown the motor and the turntable is now sat on my desk waiting for me to do something with it. Just something to be aware of, the cleverer people on this thread can probably let you know more.

Two pin shaver plug - can you just cut them off and stick a normal three pin plug on? It’s on a turntable so no real need for it to be stuck in a shaver socket.
