Listing my partner’s ALAN aluminium Competition complete bike with period Campagnolo (and other) componentry. With no shell cut-out or date stamp it looks to be a very early model (frame no: 7229) from 1972 - and is painted not anodised. It’s been well-ridden but the paint has been somewhat vulnerable for years (eg. all the paint loss on the seat tube is from a lock hanger) – possibly a reason why the white painted ones appear to be rather rare. This means that it won’t work for a paint purist, but has meant that the bike has not been stolen from the streets of London when locked up / used as a high-end daily bike. No structural damage, in good riding condition, and of course very light. Cables are new, replaced with the new old Campag NR rear derailleur recently. Sale can come with two old NR derailleurs for parts if desired. The wheels currently have pinhead security skewers (and key) but could be switched out, the rear wheel could do with a bit of a true. Inspection welcome in Dalston. Any questions, just ask.

Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot
