I've not followed all of this, but can't you just offer this "opportunity" to someone else by selling them on eBay, or here ??

I didn't buy any but wish that I had.

Got to say I've been really pleased with how the 650s have changed the handling and allowed me to use much fatter tyres on my off road bike. I almost certainly wouldn't have tried them if they hadn't been such a bargain especially as my bike's not officially rated for them.

Even at the ebay resellers' prices, they're still very cheap for carbon wheels and I'm sure will sell in the next few months.

I once purchased a wheel on holiday as I knocked one of my end caps off putting my wheel in the car. End caps weren’t available next day, so to avoid ruining my holiday a wheel which included end caps appeared logical. I used said end caps for the week, ordered them separately and then replaced them shipping the wheel back just shy of a year later when I sold the bike and had zero use for a spare. Yolo.

Campag freehub didn't fit the Selcof wheels in the end.... so 10 speed shimano cassette is going on there with the 10 speed campag. Sure it'll be good enough for me.

This works absolutely fine in my experience. If it doesn't, I'll take the wheels off you lol

I’ve never tried mixing shimano cassettes on a campag drive, I would be interested to hear how this works out for you!

Yeah, will let you know. I went down a rabbit hole trying to get to the bottom of it, seems like the spacing differences are marginal and not a big deal 👍🤞

I've run 10 sp Shimano cassettes, with 10 speed Campagnolo shifters for 15 years ish. Never needed a shiftmate or similar. I've read online that this makes me an insensitive oaff, and my gear can't be indexing properly. Bum bums.

Thanks for the replies. The internet throws up all extremes of Shimano cassette on campag drivetrain comparability.... Seems like you can balance the difference to zero in the middle of the cassette to minimise bias on the sides.... Im sure I'll mess it up, but will give it a go!
