  • yes, but still good to have it implied that in theory it would work, maybe the frame i have in mind has a lower bridge (old touring frame)

  • That frame appears to be have a threaded boss on the backside of the bridge for mudguards. If yours has no threaded bit, then you'll need a caliper that has a nutted mount rather than for recessed brake bolts. Ideally with the concave washers to grab the bridge, too.
