That frame appears to be have a threaded boss on the backside of the bridge for mudguards. If yours has no threaded bit, then you'll need a caliper that has a nutted mount rather than for recessed brake bolts. Ideally with the concave washers to grab the bridge, too.
yes, but still good to have it implied that in theory it would work, maybe the frame i have in mind has a lower bridge (old touring frame)
