Having made the coleslaw, I can confirm that it works rather well.
How does that compare to the usual petty that you use?
A petty seems vastly inefficient for making coleslaw. Unless it’s single batch artisan coleslaw.
Chalk and cheese, really. The santoku is nearly twice the size of the petty, and the profile of the blade is totally different.
