Labour are failing, they should be 40+ points ahead
etc

Not without photo ID 😆

Bus pass wankers

The list of acceptable ID for old people is a lot longer than the list of acceptable id for young people.

• #6356
Yea, another desperate attempt to skew voting.

They still have driving licences, and use them even if they can't recognise their own faces in them.
-
• #6358
You’re assuming that they don’t have paper licences
-
• #6359
The paper license is like a badge of honour for my dad, hilariously though he got done for speeding last week (not his fault....) so will be getting a photo one soon.
-
• #6360
how do you get done for speeding without it being your fault?
just curious.
-
• #6361
In his eyes, going with the flow of traffic means you are exempt from the speed limit 😂

ah i see
"i was only going as fast as the car in front of me"
:)
-
• #6363
That's how my (78 year old) mother drives, always chasing the car in front. It can get quite interesting on a quiet motorway.

The rugby analogy this opens with is shit, but bear with it as the analysis is interesting:

“And the Lords is where bullshit goes to die.”
Obviously not universally true but a golden line nonetheless -
• #6369
I spotted that too!
-
• #6370
Which is why the Tories have been so hellbent on filling it with fuckwitted cronies.
-
• #6371
Well quite
-
• #6372
Yeah having the Lords is a weird situation. The govt have shown that they can't be trusted to not vote through awful things because they've got majority control of parliament, but then the group that's doing the reality checks is an unelected body of toffs and cronies. I feel like if we do remove the lords we need to change the legislation approval to 65% or something so the party in power can't just pass what they like.

A second house is fine, lifetime and hereditary access to it is the problem.

• #6374
Just Sunak laughing in the face of someone who wants NHS to work like is used to.

• #6375
Lol, laugh at her and then when she starts to talk about a family member, turns his back and walks off, really in touch with the British people
remain are going to walk it
