Was just wondering the same.
This post was one of the top google hits so not much info about... -

A friend and I have entered. The organiser is fairly active on Insta. Keen to promote interest as it was cancelled last year due to lack of entrants.

Thanks for posting this. Was thinking of doing Great British Escapade next year but would probably enjoy something road orientated more.

Cool. I'm definitely thinking of it.
Do you know the organiser's name? Gives confidence to know who is behind it. -

I got an APN place but realised it clashes with something I can't move.
Anyone who rode this last year recommend it?
Appeals as I can just ride there from London, I've done most of the route on various other rides but there's enough here to be interesting.

Not ridden but I've heard positive things about it, including from a guy who I used to ride with who did it in 2022. And we know more about the organiser now, and he seems to know what he's doing. So it's on my list of 'rides I would do if I wasn't already doing something else'.

That's good to know. I was sense-checking as I applied for a place after the deadline and got one straight away, which made me wonder. Though I guess there's just a million events competing for riders this year!

I rode 430-odd kms of it last year. Back again to do it properly. Organiser is a really nice chap.
New format for this year - fixed route between checkpoints. First draft looks good. Should eliminate the horrible A road bashing (A39 I’m looking at you) needed to stay at the sharp end.
Does anyone know anything about this event next year? It looks kinda interesting, but there are no organiser details on their website and I can't find any reference to it anywhere else on the internet...
