Ordered two sets of technical trousers in the current sale and just received them both in the wrong size ... Is this par for the course these days with Rapha? Been a while since I last ordered from them. Feels like the material and fit too is maybe a little different too and possibly not for the better.

Hey, there is a known sizing code error with the tech trousers, it's currently being sorted. In the meantime use the site chat function to contact CS and they'll try to fix that for you.

I did attempt to contact them but I only received an automated reply shortly after - I think my mistake was having 'return' somewhere in my message and it prompted a response that didn't answer any of my questions. I waited a further 24 hours for anything better before giving up and simply returning them.
Maybe we'll see again next time there's a sale.

There’s a thread on it here:

Fuck that Mamnick wanker. He’s quite happy to steal other people’s content and ideas, wets the bed when someone does something similar to him.

I've got a Rapha jacket that's about five, maybe six years old.
I think it's the same as this one here:I bought it new (on sale) from them. I can't find the electronic receipt for it, but they have helped me find the receipt for another item I had where the zip broke and they fixed it.
The jacket isn't waterproof any more. This week just gone, I got into work after a ride through the morning rain, and the seam on my left shoulder was leaking, my sweatshirt was wet when I took it off.
If I can get them to dredge up the receipt, do you think they will repair it?

The classic winter jacket was only water resistant afaik. It's basically a softshell with DWR and taped seams. I don't know if it not being waterproof will be enough for a repair when it wasn't waterproof on paper to begin with.

Just buy some seam sealer (for the material) and re seal the affected seam yourself. It's easy.

I have a question about Core tights (with pad). Do they break in or stretch? Got size M, crashed on 3rd ride, need to replace them. They felt just a little tight. Should I just get L or after more rides and washing they’ll get looser a little?
-
• #38019
I think that mine have got tighter over the years with washing. They were comfy tight when I got them but now the straps seem too pull on my shoulders. I tried on Large a few weeks ago and that seemed to be comfier fit. (Caveat: mine were bought many years ago when they first came out, so the design may have changed over the years).

I've been using a pair of core winter tights w/pad for the last few months and don't feel like they've loosened yet / still feel snug.
-
• #38021
Lycra really shouldn't loosen and if it does, it's properly gone see through also.

Thanks guys, i’m taking L then.
