Bubonic or another fruity flavour? I scrubbed my face raw when I got to the office but yeah, I'm a goner. 1-0 to the flying rats.

still probably preferable to getting a bus.
every time I get the bus there's a massive delay.
I just waited 50 mins for a bus that's due every 20.
I think I'm cursed.it takes me 45 mins to cycle 🤦

FWIW You'd do well to scrub your face. Pigeons are infested with salmonella.

Got my kit spot on today. Much comfy and minimal sweating.

Lovely, crisp, sunny -2°C this morning. This is my second commute by bike since busting a couple of ribs at the end of November. Last week I still had the stem pulled right up to the minimum insertion line, but I put it back down yesterday and the bike feels purposeful and fast again (edit: and it didn't hurt!). 7 weeks off the bike means I've lost a lot of fitness and it's amazing how vulnerable and unfamiliar it makes you feel when you're on your normal route. Good to be back out though.

Legs didn't fancy working properly in -4°C this morning.
-6°C tomorrow going to be interesting.
Still better than getting the train -

Not recommended commuting across frozen lakes, but if you do go as fast as possible.
Momentum is your friend. Good luck -

Had a nice cruise round the off road trail in Richmond Park this morning. Always pick that option when it's below zero as any ice is very obvious as a frozen puddle. Was glorious in the sunshine and many less dog walkers than normal.
However, upon entering the roads at Roehampton the whole of southwest London seemed to be jammed up. Whats normally a pretty smooth run in from Putney to Westminster was a real filtering and red light fest.
Anyway, Sealskinz lobsters did a job with the fingers. Toes got a little chilly but didn't get full ice foot, which was nice.
