What do people do to clean cashmere jumpers?
My OH has some nice cashmere stuff that's been gifted which has a dry clean only label. A cursory Google says its about £9 to dry clean a jumper.
Is that right?
Any other options?
Cheers
Hand wash, as infrequently as you can get away with. I was once told to use shampoo not detergent, which seems to work ok
Bitd Woolite was closer to a mild shampoo than a laundry detergent.
Shampoo is bad as its meant to make your hair not greasy. Wool wants to keep it's natural grease. Use wool stuff.
